3. Vertical and horizontal loading stability test
This method combines vertical and horizontal loading to fully evaluate the stability of office chairs. The specific steps are as follows:
- Place the office chair on the test base.
- Use a block to block the table leg of the most unstable side of the specimen to prevent the specimen from moving during the test.
- Apply a force of 100N vertically downward through the loading pad at the center of the side, 50mm inward from the edge.
- At the same time, apply a horizontal force outward on the table at the center of the side, and gradually increase the force to the specified value or until at least one table leg is off the ground.

4. Chair and stool stability test
This test method is mainly used for stability testing of straight-back chairs and stools. The specific steps are as follows:
- Simulate the load-bearing conditions of chairs and stools during daily use, and the ability to resist tipping.
- It is composed of pneumatic systems and adjustment machinery, equipped with a force display system, which can display the loaded force value in real time.

5. Japanese Standard JIS S 1204 Stability Test
